Climate Change as a Moral Issue – A Retreat
On October 26, the University of Calgary, The King’s University College in Edmonton, World Vision and the Pembina Institute will convene a multi-denominational retreat on climate change as a moral issue. The retreat will focus on answering the following questions:
1. What is climate change, what are its implications and how are we currently addressing it?
2. What is the theological significance of climate change and humanity’s role in it?
3. What can I and my congregation do about climate change?
Join Dave Toycen, President and CEO of World Vision Canada, and Graham Saul, Executive Director of the Climate Action Network Canada and other leading religious and ecological thinkers in considering these questions.
